The DB Box was a box of random screws, I/O cover plates, slot blanks, adapters, and various other tidbits needed for configuring computers.

It began as a small, white, rectangular cardboard box, but then advanced to a blue cardboard box intended for printer ribbons, and finally, to a fully fleshed-out storage area:
